I like to blend humor with heart to encourage people to get curious, embrace creativity, and create change.

There’s Always More to the Story – In a world full of uncertainty, curiosity becomes a superpower. Learn how to develop a healthy relationship with the unknown.

Storytelling For Solutions – Based on the idea that if you change the way you look at things, the things you look at will change. This talk highlights firsthand encounters I’ve seen where a narrative shift has led to larger-scale change.

You Can’t NOT Make a Difference – Our news landscape makes it a little easy to feel powerless, but the reality is quite different. Ecology shows us that in an interconnected world everything makes an impact by being part of a system. The real question is about what sort of impact one makes.

I’m also happy to take on fully custom keynotes from 20-60 minutes, or to host workshops.

STORTYELLING

I love to work with organizations to enhance their storytelling. While this is primarily through video production and content creation, I’ve also used written narrative, photography, or unconventional mixed media experiences to help share the stories of changemakers. I’m also happy to work with organizations to discover what is the story they want to tell.

My storytelling trips have taken me to India, Ethiopia, the Philippines, Guyana, Haiti, Burundi, Colombia, and beyond. I’ve worked with organizations including Plant With Purpose, Mobility International, Inheritance Magazine, 5Cees, Liberty in North Korea, and others creating social change.
