PINS: Montreal

Montréal has always struck me as one of the coolest cities in North America. My most recent visit did nothing to change that impression. Here are some spots you’ve gotta check out:

📍Crew Collective & Cafe
Gorgeous café in an old bank building. Cathedral-esque ceiling with lots of work space.

📍Bouleveard Saint Lauren

Montreal's hot spot for street art. Look out for Jackie Robinson & Leonard Cohen murals.

📍Schwartz’s Deli

One of the world's most iconic delis. Smoked brisket on thin rye bread with mustard.

📍Montreal Biodome

Enclosed replicas of five distinct ecosystems right next to Olympic Stadium.

📍Portugalia

Under-the-radar spot focusing on Portuguese marinated chicken and other goods.

📍Neotokyo

Ramen and noodle restaurant with an interior that resembles the streets of Tokyo.

📍Kouing Amann Bakery

Great spot in Montreal to get the extremely flaky Kouing Amann and other French goods.

📍Sammi & Soupe Dumpling

Peanut butter dumplings originated in Montréal’s 1980s Szechuan-inspired scene.

📍Boulangerie Le Toledo

Incredible bakery on one of Montreal's best pedestrian strips. Often packed and popular.

📍Joie de Livres

Great combination bookstore-coffee shop with other snacks and a community feel.
