For those of you participating in my Stuck-At-Home International Film Festival, I hope youโ€™ve found a film you like so far. These choices come from a really wide mix of genres and cultures, so some will definitely be closer to your tastes than others.

Iโ€™m glad Iโ€™ve put this together since itโ€™s been a while since Iโ€™ve proactively sought out international movies. Iโ€™ve discovered a lot thatโ€™s been released in the years since, hence many of these coming from 2018-2019.

Anyways, Iโ€™ve got a new batch of films ready to go:

๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ธ An Icelandic character-driven film, exploring poverty, LGBT issues, and migration
๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ฌ An upbeat Nigerian film with a strong woman lead
๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ท A Brazilian genre-bender that turns sci-fi and westerns on their head
๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡ธ A Spanish murder-mystery
๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ช An Irish musical set in a 1980s public school
๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡ฝ A Mexican epic featuring beautiful black and white cinematography
๐Ÿ‡ฐ๐Ÿ‡ท A Korean psychological thriller based on a Haruki Murakami short story

Again, sign up at the link in my bio so you can get the links to stream these picks. Some are sitting around on Netflix, but others take more sleuthing!

Any favorites so far? Any from this week youโ€™re interested in checking out?
